Management Strategies, Issues Requiring Attention
Competition to attract skilled employees is intensifying in the finance industry due to greater mobility of talent. Against this backdrop, FGI sees the shortage of talent as the biggest challenge to overcome in expanding Group activities and will promote bold and resilient measures to recruit, develop and retain talented individuals.
Through business activities, especially private equity investment and arrangement services, we aim to contribute to various solutions that address social issues. Toward this end, we are focusing our efforts on the following issues specific to each business domain.
- 1. Investment banking , investments
• Strengthen private equity investment, starting with business succession projects.
• Expand sales channels for existing fund products and assemble new products.
- 2. Asset management
• Expand stock-type earnings (recurring-fee revenues) base with higher level of assets under management.
- 3. Local issue solutions
• Broaden services that support preparation of administrative plans, including general plans, response to childcare issues and measures to promote good health.
• Promote total solution measures that provide multiple options consistent across each municipality.
- 4. Metsä
• Attract more guests to Moominvalley Park through a significant reduction in the price of admission (one-day pass) for children and by extending the age range for children to include senior high school students (revised November 1, 2024).
• Even out disparity in fun and leisure opportunities for children due to income inequality through child-friendly pricing.
• Update and enrich content, with emphasis on services.
